Watermelon Plant..... it died before it produced anything.....

because it was planted to late in the season and the frost got to it! :(

Josiah loves to eat leaves of fresh basil.... I don't know why it is so bitter!

Pumpkin Carving

For Halloween this year we decided to carve a pumpkin and make homemade playdough... Josiah loved to mush the playdough in his hands and stand sticks up in it!!

Mommy drew the design of the face and

Daddy carved the pumpkin and

Josiah got to play in the goo inside the pumpkin

and get out all the seeds.... He didn't like to touch the goo!!

He thought it was gross!!

He had a blast creating and exploring a whole new world of art!!

For Josiah the pumpkin wasn't as much fun as the playdough......

He was busy at work...concentrating on his art creation!!
