Christmas Eve

For Christmas eve:
Our tradition is to go to a candle light service at our church with my Mom and Dad
(Yvonne and Chuck) and Jason's mom (Kerry) and step-dad (Ron) and then come
over to our house for a homemade cooked dinner.
Our church had a beautiful service full of the true meaning of Christmas which is the joy and hope we have in Jesus Christ...through his birth and ultimately his death on the cross.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS!!
This year we went to a beautiful reenactment of the Nativity story with a narration and live animals.....it was breathtaking!! Josiah loved it! And afterward he was able to feed the donkey. It was so fun and really made me think about what Jesus first night on earth was really like.... what sacrifice he made to come and live among the poor all for our sake.
I made my famous homemade apple pie! Oh, so yummy!!

Playing with Papa and Nana

We made photo books for the Grandma's and Grandpa's this year...of Josiah's first year!
they turned out really cute!

Papa and Nana & Josiah with Bailey dog
Pap Pap and Grandma & Josiah and Bailey dog too!!

Josiah had to play with each toy after he opened it up! It was so cute to watch him enjoy each gift before wanting to open the next one. What a sweet little boy!

He even (*read) each book....or looked at each page of each book. He loves books!! He got a police car book....he is so in to his cars! He has a cute siren noise that he makes!!

His train table and train set!!

Hours of fun!! :)

I made Spaghetti and a white butter sauce....a family recipe! It is delicious!!
You make it with garlic, butter, chicken, potatoes, and butter.....did I mention butter?

Yummy!!

My Mom and Dad had to do the finishing touches on the food to
make sure it was done correctly......because it is their family recipe and all......
I bet they made sure I put enough butter in it!!

Time to eat!!

Christmas eve morning with
just mommy and daddy.....
We opened up our main gift today... we couldn't wait!
Choo.....Chooooo......
Josiah got a train table and a whole large train set with wooden tracks and
that has sounds and movable pieces!
He loves trains!!!
Choo....Choo...
He had so much fun checking out each train and making it go along the track!
He likes the little wooden people and the workable crane!! So much fun!! :)
I love this toy too! Because he can play and I can get some things done!!
and play with him too.... he loves to have a playmate!
Josiah is really liking his crayons too! He colors so beautifully! He really concentrates and does a great job!

Santa Bear...
and Santa Dog!!

Josiah likes to play near the christmas tree and watch the beautiful lights sparkle!

Bailey....made a new friend?......No, not really- she barked at it and went a little crazy!

This puppet toy barks and it made Bailey really scared!
It was kind of funny to watch her with it.

Merry Christmas Eve!!
